Advocacy is something I take seriously (even if I don't always take myself too seriously). To "be an advocate" means to actively support and promote the interests, rights, or cause of another person, group, or idea—whether by speaking up, providing support, or taking action to create real change.

For too long, our community has been taken advantage of in this industry. Our culture has shaped nearly every musical genre in America, yet we're only now seeing artists reclaim their copyrights, win streaming battles, and secure the recognition they've always deserved. It shouldn't have taken this long, but here we are—and we're not looking back.
