ADVOCACY FOR ARTISTS

Advocacy is something I take seriously (even if I don't always take myself too seriously). To "be an advocate" means to actively support and promote the interests, rights, or cause of another person, group, or idea—whether by speaking up, providing support, or taking action to create real change.
Everything I share on this page is dedicated to the success, support, and progression of performing artists. This is your resource hub—no fluff, just facts that can actually move the needle.
For too long, our community has been taken advantage of in this industry. Our culture has shaped nearly every musical genre in America, yet we're only now seeing artists reclaim their copyrights, win streaming battles, and secure the recognition they've always deserved. It shouldn't have taken this long, but here we are—and we're not looking back.
When I find something that can help any performing artist, DJ, musician, or creative professional level up their career, protect their work, or build their brand, I'll break it down for you here. No industry jargon, no gatekeeping—just real talk backed by real research. Because when one of us wins, we all win.
